Disney's Dining Experience Membership: Worth the Cost?

Members of Disney's Dining Experience receive a twenty percent discount on all food and beverages (yes, spirits too) at any participating restaurant in Walt Disney World. Membership is ordinarily $85 for the year, but annual passholders pay only $65. And one card is good for up to six guests. So, is Disney's Dining Experience membership worth the expense? For residents of Orlando and the surrounding areas the answer is a resounding yes. Here is why.

Disney's Dining Experience offers to its members a twenty percent discount on all food and beverages, including wine, beer and spirits, at such spectacular restaurants as Jiko: The Cooking Place at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Brown Derby at MGM Studios, and Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. One visit to each and Disney's Dining Experience Membership will most likely pay for itself.

In addition, you can choose from Planet Hollywood, Raglan Road, and Cap'n Jack's Restaurant at Downtown Disney. Cinderella's Royal Table, Liberty Tree Tavern, The Crystal Palace, The Plaza Restaurant, and Tony's Town Square Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom Theme Park. And Ohana, Kona Café, the Tambu Lounge, and Disney's Spirit of Aloha late Dinner Show at the Polynesian Resort.

At Epcot, you can travel around the world and dine at many of the countries' pavilions in the World Showcase. In Italy, L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante. In Germany, the Biergarten Restaurant. In France, Bistro de Paris or Chefs de France Restaurants. In Britain, the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room. And in Canada, Le Cellier Steakhouse. To name a few. Once you purchase a membership, you can pick your temporary card up at Guest Services at Epcot, and your regular membership card will be mailed to you within a month. Disney sends out renewal notices forty-five to sixty days before your expiration date. Enjoy!
