Disney's Up Movie Coloring Pages, Games, Trailers and More

Sandra Essary
From Disney Pixar comes the absolutely delightful movie "Up", due to hit theaters May 29, 2009. The promotions of this movie are top-rate, so I think "Up" will be the early summer blockbuster for children. Even little kids will enjoy it because of the bright colors in the movie, not the least of which are the "Up" balloons.

"Up" is about an old balloon salesman (Carl) who ties a huge number of colorful balloons to his house, which then lifts off, heading for South America. Soon he realizes an 8-year old Boy Scout (Russell) has stowed away, and the adventure and mishaps begin. They meet Kevin, a brightly colored bird, and Dug, an old mutt, along the way.

Disney Pixar has produced movies such as "Wall-E", "Cars", "Monsters, Inc.", and the "Incredibles". I find myself watching these movies for the animation alone; they're that good. "Up" is no different. You can watch a number of trailers here. You can also find a number of "Up" videos here.

The official Disney website for "Up" has a story synopsis, wallpaper download, games, and more. Games on the official site include Up: Balloon Blow Up, where you have to basically keep the balloons inflated so the house doesn't crash. Up: Choco-Gobble is a fun, easy mini-version of Pac-Man, using only characters from "Up" and chocolate pieces.

As of right now, the Disney movie "Up" coloring pages are rare. "Up" coloring pages can be found here and include the following:

1. Great "Up" coloring page shows grumpy old man Carl pulling his floating house by a rope, while Russell the Boy Scout skips along behind him.

2. This "Up" coloring page shows Carl and Jr. being lifted off the ground by his floating house.

Watch for more "Up" coloring pages coming soon!
