Disney's Year of a Million Dreams

If you go to Disneyland or Disneyworld this year, you might just have your Disney dream come true! This year, Disney is giving away all kinds of prizes randomly to people visiting the park, all part of a new "Year of a Million Dreams" campaign. Many people will win a Dream FastPass to almost every ride in the park, or special Mickey Ears, and a few could even win an overnight stay in Cinderella's castle, or a Disney vacation around the world!

This giveaway period ("Year of a Million Dreams") started in Fall of 2006. When my husband and I were at Disneyland last November, we saw a group of kids with the Dream FastPass for Disney's California Adventure Park. It looked pretty neat. On the Dream FastPass there were two tabs for every ride there that had FastPasses. I was certainly wishing we had one. We also saw lots of people walking around with the Dream MickeyEars.

Below is a list of prizes that Disney will be giving out. Many of these prizes are specific to a certain park. Also, keep in mind that most of these prizes are only going to be given to one or a few people. Some of the smaller prizes, like the Dream FastPass and the Dream Mickey Ears, are given out all the time. According to Disney, many prizes will be given out earlier in the day to assure that guests would be able to use them. So, if you are hoping to have your Disney dream come true on your next trip to a Disney theme park, I recommend arriving early.
