Display Christmas Videos and Pictures on Your MySpace Profile

With the Christmas app on MySpace, you can now display Christmas Videos and Pictures on your MySpace profile. The videos and pictures will be displayed randomly on your profile. You can also invite your friends to install the application and join in on the forum discussion. In this tutorial, I will walk you through the steps of installing the Christmas videos and pictures app and I will show you how to invite your friends. I will also show you how to remove it if you decide after installing it that you do not like it.

Step 1 - Installing the Christmas Videos and Pictures App on Your MySpace Profile

Our first step is to install the Christmas application on your profile. In order to install any application, you will have to visit the Apps Gallery. If you are unfamiliar with the apps gallery, it is located under the More menu.

Once you are in the gallery, you will need to type "Christmas" in the search field and do a search. When the results return, click the Add App button below the description. A box will open and you will need to click the Add button to complete the installation.

Step 2 - Creating a Username for the Forums

The second step is to create a username for the forums. You do not necessarily have to join in on the discussions, but you will have to create a username to get pass this step. Simply type in your username in the box and click the Submit button.

Step 3 - Inviting Your Friends to Install the Application

After creating your username, you will be redirected to the page where you will see a box of your friends. Click on a friend and a box will open. In that box, you will see a send button. Click the Send button to send the invitation. When the box closes, you can select another friend and repeat the steps above.

Step 4 - Viewing the Christmas Videos and Pictures

You can now view your Christmas Videos and Pictures. You can view them on your profile page and your account page. Go to either page to see the videos and pictures.

Removing the App from Your Profile

To remove the app, you will need to open your account page. On the account page, you will need to click the Manage Apps page. Then you will see the page with all of your apps. Beside the Christmas app, you will see a Remove link. Click that link and click the Remove button in the box that opens. The Christmas app will be completely removed from your MySpace account and profile.
