Distant memories echo around a mind,
Why are they still there?
Colliding into each other,
Colluding with one another,
Taking up too much time.
Why are they still there?
Colliding into each other,
Colluding with one another,
Taking up too much time.
It's times like tables,
Historical fables,
Being able to see,
The wood for the trees.
And all the wrong words,
Can ears hear them?
Can mouths taste them?
Do echoes want to replace them?
With others less sharp and disturbed.
And So in five seconds of a life,
Unraveled came time's thread,
It unraveled in a head,
In just five seconds of a life.
So, distance and time,
they'll always be there,
Marking the journey's road ahead,
And as for inner pursuits,
It starts and ends in a head.
