Diva Thai and Sushi Bar Opens in Lakeview

I never had sushi before, but when my friends told me that Diva Thia and Sushi Bar was hosting a free food tasting in honor of their grand opening. I was excited to go Diva, located at 3542 North Halsted Street in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, but couldn't decide what to order because I was unfamiliar with this type of food. The sushi was so delicious and the miso soup was great. I also tried the fried rice and the Diva Vegan Roll. It tasted like a veggie spring roll or egg roll, and it was very fresh. Since the buffet was free on opening night, we got to taste a lot of their popular menu items, and I can say that everything was very good.

The decor was comfy and very red. It was a little bright in there, but they played pleasant music. I would love to eat there again, but it is quite a distance from where I live, but when I'm in the neighborhood again visiting friends, I hope to go back. I would like to try the beef and broccoli next time, because somehow, I missed it when I was there. It's also open until 4 in the morning, so I'm assuming that it will become a popular place for people on their way home from various nightspots in town.
