Owner Tony Agnello keeps Diver's Nook well stocked with live and synthetic bait, rods and reels and a large variety of fishing tackle and accessories. In addition to the standard night crawlers (worms), Diver's Nook also carries a large size variety of minnows as well as being the only retailer of bait leeches in the area.
As the name suggests, Diver's Nook is a complete resource for anything related to SCUBA diving. Tank and suit rentals are available for time periods ranging from 24 hours to weekly. Diver's Nook is also a service location for SCUBA equipment and a tank-filling location.
Tony is an experienced guide for fishing, diving and sightseeing tours throughout Georgian Bay. Diving excursions to several shipwrecks including the SS Atlantic, the Seattle and the Jane McLeod can be arranged as well as fossil and wall dives during day trips, camping trips and weekend tours. Diver's Nook partners with local, certified instructors for those who wish to learn to dive.
Fishing charters for up to six people are available for half-day or full-day trips including tackle and bait. Scenic tours operate much the same way through the "30,000 Islands" of Georgian Bay and can include snorkeling and swimming. Shore lunches are provided for both types of full-day charters.
My man has known Tony for years from the days of leading diving groups from Central Ohio to Parry Sound. I was fortunate to meet Agnello on my first trip to Parry Sound and he was my tour guide on an afternoon excursion through the islands to the World Famous Henry's Fish Restaurant on Frying Pan Island. Tony isn't just an experienced guide - he's very personable and makes every effort to provide a great experience for everyone on his boat, no matter the level of experience.
Diver's Nook is partnered with Travelodge Parry Sound for tour accommodation packages including hotel rooms and meals.
