Divi Aruba All Inclusive Hotel Review

On a recent trip to Aruba, we stayed at the Divi Aruba All Inclusive hotel. The Divi Aruba was a great place to bring our family with great service and many things to do. Our oceanview room cost $462 a night. There are certainly less expensive places to stay but we were pleased with our stay and felt that it was definitely worth the money. One of the reasons we decided on Divi Aruba was because our kids were able to stay, eat, and play all for free because they were sharing a room with us.

The all inclusive feature was great for our family because there were many things to keep us entertained without having to travel far. Guests at the Divi Aruba can also use all of the facilities at the Tamarign Aruba All Inclusive which is only a few minutes away.

The hotel was right on the beach. The beach wasn't very busy most of the time and we were able to get great spots close to the water. The rates included use of the non-motorized boats so we took turns taking the kids out in kayaks and paddleboats. The snorkels that were available were a big hit with the kids as they dove looking for fish and treasures. There were also three pools onsite for us to explore which were nice when we wanted a change from the ocean.

We borrowed bikes to explore the area around the hotel for an afternoon but found that we preferred the hotel beach.

Another nice feature was that all of our meals and drinks were included. There were four restaurants at Divi Aruba and five at Tamarign Aruba so we were able to eat at a different place each night of our 7 day vacation. The food was wonderful at all of them and had fast service. We were also impressed that the kids were able to find something that they were willing to eat even in the fancier restaurants. There was entertainment nightly to enjoy after dinner. The shows were fairly typical of this type of resort. It is not Broadway but they were still entertaining and fun.

Since our kids were old enough to stay in the room alone (there is baby-sitting available if your children are younger), we took advantage of the coupons we were given by the hotel for the Alhambra Casino and did some gambling. I suggest you do this even if you are not a gambler just to take a look around.

I would recommend the Divi Aruba as a place to stay when you are looking for a relaxing vacation with no responsibilities.
