Divinity Rising: 10-27-08: Where the Heck Are My Keys?

Divinity Rose: Soulfood from a Showgirl
All Part of the Show:

I'm flying through the land of broken dreams

Because I'm looking for my keys:

The ones who will open me

Free me, See me

and Maybe love me anyways

Drawing closer to someone that has stood out in my perception for about a year now has presented me with a key, leading to moments of complete clarity and honesty begging acceptance. I've been faced with some very clear reflections about myself that were unexpected and even quite unpleasant to see, but recognizing them allowed me to release the bad information stored within me. In order to release things within us, we have to experience them or see them clearly and name them

How can we free ourselves from the fears we hide from? By accepting the keys presented to us. Keys are people, things, and experiences that open up the doors within us. They might make us uncomfortable, but it is our future beckoning. Open up and let things touch you. The more I open up and let things touch me, the more amazed I am by myself and those around me.

Be careful as you open the door! We're like those overstuffed closets that no one wants to clean out. When the door is opened, stuff comes tumbling out into our life for us to deal with. We see things about ourselves that we have to decide to get rid of or put neatly in their places. As those things come tumbling out, the events surrounding us seem chaotic. In moments of transition, sometimes all we can do is stand back and accept the avalanche, and wait for things to calm down before we try to observe and analyze what's fallen from the closet.

This is what has happened in the last few weeks. We've all been presented some hefty keys. You may have found yourself in a move or transition of some sort - with a change of relationship, job, home, or health. These were not your every day slowly developing changes. These were changes that seemed near immediate. Things were there one minute / gone the next, and some of them were things that we felt defined us. We have been through a true chaotic shift, and it feels like the epileptic divine hand of inner evolution has had one hell of a seizure while holding the snow globe we live with in. Anytime we are ready to accept something new about ourselves, we turn a key and our external circumstances shift to reflect that change. If we allow ourselves to fear change or try to reject it and cling to the old, we face more discomfort. However uncomfortable these changes may seem, they lead us somewhere that feels better. Despite the bad taste, they're just the medicine we need.

See if you can rest and wait for the items to stop tumbling so you can clearly see what you've been hiding in the closet. What is your heart is saying to you? The love within begs to be released.. it is far too large for you to hide it the way you do.

Accept the things that fall in your path, but do not fall for the illusion that they can stop or hurt you. Just listen to what they are saying and see how you can release anything keeping you from becoming what your heart calls you to be. What are the keys being presented to you right now? Will you accept them and turn them in the locks within yourself? When you open the closet, I'm sure you'll realize there aren't really any monsters in there, only a lot of stuff you've been hiding instead of dealing with. Once you face the pile and clean it up, you'll feel oh so much better.

Spirits in the Inkwell:

(Snippets from journals )

I am grateful that even when I am not consciously aware of it, what I need is known and flows into the life around me. I am so grateful to be a daughter of God. I sometimes forget what a privilege that is.

Herding angels is like herding cats....with wings.

Thoughts, ideas, spirits can not feel. That's the unique gift of humanity.

It feels so good as the wind passionately carresses my skin in the awesome night air. I really love walking the streets at night..or sitting somewhere in a crook unnoticed as the world goes on around me...as if perched high atop a building looking down. I really do think it would be the coolest thing ever to leap or crawl to high points and be able to look down from above. It is my favorite way to look at things.

Now that I've let the human I was die and gotten to know my spirit, I create the human I want to.

More and more I stand in awe of all we are. I am so astonished. Help me to not fear what I see. ..but to love and to seek what I love, do what I love, express what I love, seek out and crate experiences I love, not that I think I need to.

To be in the moment and FEEL...my greatest gift.

This moment is my eternity and you...you are my everything.

Oh, Great Spirit....Draw me near to you and may we enjoy life's naughty little affair. Help me to block all judgment, doubt, and fear...may my song be louder than the sounds of fear around me, transforming them...

Compassion in Action! Thank you to Brendans/Flanagan's owner!!!: Recently, a friend of mine was hit by a car while walking home from work and is in pretty rough shape. That's at least the deduction. No one is really sure what happened. He was an employee of Brendan's in St. Matthews. His employers have decided to continue to pay his wages and his insurance through the end of the year! Take a moment to send them a note of appreciation and commend them for such a compassionate act of responsibility!

  • Sacred keys come as people, experiences, and things that open us.
  • When the door opens, stuff tumbles into our lives.
  • We are given anything we ask for from the heart.
When stuff tumbles into our lives, it shows up in the circumstances surrounding us. Our attention is drawn to specific things that are speaking to us.
