Although, I missed the actual one year mark, I realized I have now been sending this column out for one year! Hurrah! Happy Birthday to US! And in a strange universal synchronisity it is also the birthday of one of my favorite soul sisters, Miss Rina from Australia! Happy Birthday to the Ray of light from Down Under! What better way to celebrate than for Rina and I to run around in our birthday suits all day? (Much easier for her on the sunny beaches down under I assure you!)
Wait a minute! What if we all run around in our birthday suits!!?!?!
I know ..I know! The horrors of nudity! Being naked means..*gasp! ...being vulnerable! I feel your pain. For so long, I've been a warrior, and it was a lot easier to stand before others as a warrior dressed to the hilt, armor and sword. But I've learned it takes true bravery and true strength to stand before you a warrior undressed - naked, vulnerable but ever so blessed .
When we are naked and vulnerable, we fear that others will pick us apart and have something to say about the true us they see before them. I've been there and wondered "Is there some magical drug? Some medicine to take so I could be okay for everyone that I seem to be disappointing..I mean..I'm just trying to be me..and I try to please you but the rules keep changing. I guess what I'm trying to say..Do you have some pill for being human?"
No matter how much I prayed to God to make me different, to make me "right" it didn't seem to work..it took me a long time to realize that maybe God didn't want me to be the same thing everyone else wanted me to be or even the way everyone else seemed to think God wanted me to be ..and that pushed a lot of people away.
As I decided I was okay with that, a peace came over me as I became aware that the song "Say hello to heaven" was playing on my computer :) And although being naked sometimes pushes others away, I learned just how much fun it is to dance in the buff. Care to join me?

Can we pretend there is a wormhole from my heart to yours?
The problem with wanting to be god, or the future you is that it robs you of being the current you, which means you don't get to observe what you used to want to be and put so much effort into becoming.
The amount of forces working together in every moment is amazing.
