Divisional Round - NFL Playoffs

Four really good games are on tap. Let's start with the worst and end with the best. San Diego is picked to win by a touchdown against the Jets. I don't care what anybody says, the Jets are one of the most undeserving teams to ever make the playoffs. They played the second string of the Colts and Bengals in their last two games and magically got matched up against the 2nd worst team in the playoffs and played a better game then them when it mattered. I really don't see this game being close. San Diego is definitely a sleeper pick for the Super Bowl. They have almost been off the radar all year due to the Colts and Saints partially undefeated seasons. San Diego wins this one 24 to 10.

Baltimore is also a touchdown underdog against Indianapolis. After Rick Reilly's story (see previous blog) I will be rooting 100% for the Ravens. I will never forgive Indianapolis or Coach Caldwell for not trying to go undefeated. I also just read a little bit of the story in GQ about Marvin Harrison so I basically dislike all things Indianapolis right now. I just don't know how the Ravens can knock off the Colts if Flacco is not more efficient. Ray Rice is a beast but the Colts have been preparing for him all week. I like the Ravens to win by a field goal.

They have New Orleans pegged as a touchdown favorite but I just don't see it. New Orleans struggled down the stretch, sure they had things wrapped up but it cannot be dismissed. The Cardinals are coming off a dramatic victory, allbeit a face mask probably should have been called, and Kurt Warner is probably done after this season. If those two things don't fire you up, nothing will. I like the Cardinals to win this one by 10.

Dallas and Minnesota will probably be the game on everybody's radar. Minnesota is the favorite by about a field goal. Which Minnesota team will show up? The one that demolished everything in sight in their last game or the one that struggled in a few games before that. I really don't know. Even my gut is not working on this one. My gut says Dallas. My gut says Vikings. My gut says Romo. My gut says Favre. For some reason I think destiny is on Dallas' side right now. I will take Dallas by 6.
