Divorce for Camille Donatacci & Kelsey Grammer

Camile Donatacci has filed for divorce from Kelsey Grammer. The marriage began in 1997. This 13-year union is now finite, reports People. Camille has listed irreconcilable differences as the cause of the divorce.

Thus at age 55 Kelsey's third marriage will end and he will be a bachelor again. This Hollywood legend is pretty typical; most famous actors have had a few marriages and divorces.

Kelsey Grammer and His Kids

Kelsey and Camille have two children together, a son Jude age 5 and a daughter Mason age 8. Camille has asked for "joint legal custody and primary physical custody," reports TMZ.

Kelsey also has two other children with his first two wives. Daughter Spencer is age 26, and daughter Greer is age 18.

Kelsey Grammer's Career

Kelsey is now performing on Broadway and Camille is a cast member of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Perhaps working in locations 3,000 miles apart took a toll on the marriage.

Kelsey Grammer first became well known in America for his work on the TV show "Cheers." His character, psychiatrist Frasier Crane, was a somewhat high strung and pompous intellectual. He had a wry wit.

This character was so popular that after Cheers ended that Grammer was able to start a solo show "Frasier" based on the same character. He was a lucky actor indeed; he played the role of Frasier Crane for a total of 20 years.

Kelsey Grammer's Struggles

Kelsey Grammer has had a lot of tragedy in his personal life. NNDB reports that his father was murdered in the Virgin Islands when Kelsey was 13, his sister Karen was raped and murdered in 1975, and he has lost 2 half-brothers and his mother.

His first two marriages were turbulent. He has also been arrested for DUI and drug possession.

Kelsey was born in New Jersey, graduated from high school in Florida, and he attended Juilliard in New York City to study drama for several years. He then moved out to California and built an acting career.
