Divorce Hurts Everyone

Know-a days divorce is a very common practice in society. Many people go into marriage with the thought that if it does not work out they can simply get a divorce. However marriage should NEVER be taken that lightly. Divorce does not just affect the two people in the marriage, it also affects everyone in the circle of friends and family that surround the two people. Divorce is a heartbreaking thing, and should only happen when there is absolutely no hope of fixing the holes in the marriage.

Why do people get married? There are many reasons why people get married, many of them are probably are not good reasons to marry, but some of them are brilliant reasons. Examples of wrong reasons to get married include; you do not think that anyone else will love you, because you get pregnant, because your forced into marriage by the person you are with. Many people believe that you should get married if you get pregnant out of wedlock, but marriage is not always the solution, especially if there is no love shared between the two people in question. It is ok to say that it will provide a family for the infant, but what kind of life will the child lead if its parents do not get along with each other? Marriage is a serious commitment and should never be taken lightly, or out of convenience.

For some however marriage is entered into with a full heart, and for all the right reasons. For a start the man and woman are friends to begin with and allow a love to grow between them. Whether this friendship started at childhood, or as teenagers, or as adults it is always a strong way to start a marriage. friendship is a very important aspect of a marriage. For a marriage to work there really needs to be an emotional bond between the two people. so you may ask why would a marriage thats has a strong start end in divorce?

However friendships can take a lot of beatings and pull people apart. Not every friendship is built to last, but every friendship should be fought for to save and make work. Many people believe that people who divorce could not have been friends to start with nut this is just not true. Even the best of friends can want out of a marriage, if it is just not working.

Divorce should always be a last resort, before deciding to divorce, make sure you have tried everything from marriage counseling, to a romantic break for the two of you to see if a spark can again start a flame.

If there are children in the marriage they should always come first, even if you are getting a divorce you must always remember that it affects them just as much as it affects you. It should always be made clear to them that it is in no way their fault. They should not be caught up in any arguments, they will suffer enough to see their family being torn apart. Children are not stupid and they know when things are not right, so it important to talk to them, explain the situation. But do not do it in the format ,of he said, or she said, or who did what to break up the marriage.

Divorce is never an easy option, and many people are hurt when dealing with a divorce situation. Marriage is like a life, to begin with you have to take baby steps before you can run, and throughout the marriage you are constantly learning, and the ending is always sad as a love can be torn apart by death. So where does divorce fit in, in this life, well i see divorce as a marriage suicide away out before it was meant to die. However in some cases it is the only way out. Sometimes a marriage should never have been started, and in these cases you may just end up hurting each other, and everyone around you if you stay in the marriage.

Divorce for some can be a blessing and a relief, but for some it can be a curse and the toughest thing a person will ever go through. Either way before divorce is chosen, every option that can save a marriage should be looked at.
