DIY BBQ Party Invitations

If you are planning a BBQ party and want to send invitations instead of using word of mouth to spread the news, then make your own invitations. If you are asking how to make your own BBQ party invitations and are feeling a little nervous about it, stop worrying. It is very easy to make your own BBQ party invitations.

The main thing that you have to have when designing your own BBQ Party invitations is good software. Personally I love PrintMaster Platinum. It has a very wide selection of images and templates to use for your BBQ Party invitation. Plus, you can add or use your own images and change the background, fonts and colors.

To begin your project using the PrintMaster software, open the program and choose Personalize Ready Made Project. Lick the arrow next to Select Type of Project and choose invitations from the drop down list. Choose General under Category. Select the template that you want to use for your BBQ Party invitations.

To change the various aspects, just click on the item to be changed. You can move the item by holding the left mouse button and dragging. By right clicking you can access a list of choices that you can also use from the side menu. For instance, you can access photo workshop, frames, the layers positioning, size or even add sound to digital invitations.

If you would like to use your own image to the front, delete the current one. On the top menu bar click on Add, then graphic, then from disk. After choosing your image it will appear on the BBQ party invitation screen and you will need to resize and place where desired. Don't forget to do things like crop and add illusions to your image for an unique BBQ invitation.

Text can be added or changed. To change text that is already there, double click inside the text box. The text menu bar on top is for changing the font, size and color. It can also be used to decide alignment. To add text, click on Text inside the side bar and choose to add text box or Headline.

To work on the inside of your BBQ invitation, click on the arrow at the bottom of the project screen next to the word Front. The inside will have an area for you to add your BBQ party information. You can add an image to this area for a fun touch.

As you can see, it is very easy to make a BBQ party invitation when you have a great software product like PrintMaster.
