At your local retail store like Target, purchase the following items:
* 8 to 10 oz. Spray bottle. The smaller spray bottles are usually located around the travel-sized toiletries.
* Box of coarse Sea Salt (Table salt will not work.)
* Coconut conditioner (I like Coconut conditioner because it reminds me of the beach. If you want to have a different scent, use your favorite one! Choose a cheap conditioner, since you will only use a small amount to keep hair from drying out with the salt.)
* Unscented hair gel (This will help your hair retain texture.)
Add 8 oz. of filtered or distilled water, 1 tsp. of sea salt, and ½ tsp. each of the conditioner and hair gel into the spray bottle, and then shake up to mix thoroughly.
Spray onto damp or wet hair, and scrunch hair with your hands to create texture. Let your hair dry naturally, which will add to the whole beach look.
