Wendy Rose Gould
Yours truly is here with even more DIY beauty secrets. These are great products you can make in your kitchen and they are also quite inexpensive! You can make these products for yourself or even put the mixtures in pretty bottles and give to friends and family for a real heart-felt treat!

The following are two different scrubs to give a go! One is a milk and honey face scrub and the other is a brown sugar body scrub. Both exfoliate and leave your skin glowing and refreshed! Not to mention they smell wonderful!

What it is: Milk and Honey Face Scrub

What's it for: Exfoliating skin

Skin type: any

This scrub will work for any part of your body but is especially great for your face and lips! Here's what you need to get started:

3 tablespoons Non-fat powdered milk

1 tablespoon

Put the three tablespoons of powdered milk into a bowl. Gradually add the honey until you have a paste that is smooth and consistent in texture (avoid lumps and bumps!)

Next, wet your face with warm water and apply the mixture. Gently rub in a circular motion with your fingers to exfoliate. If you'd like, you could use a toothbrush or loofah to massage the mixture into your skin.

After several minutes of exfoliating, rinse away with warm water. Splash some cold water onto your face to tighten pores and then gently pat dry.

What you should be left with is skin that is radiating and beautiful! To top everything off, apply a light moisturizer to your face if you own any!

What it is: Brown Sugar Body Scrub

What's it for: Exfoliating skin

Skin type: any

This body scrub smells absolutely delicious and works wonder on dull, flaky, dry skin! Before you begin, make sure you have the following ingredients ready to go:

1.5 cups of brown sugar

1/4 cup of olive oil (canola oil will work, too).

After you've gathered these ingredients, here's what you need to do.

First, place the brown sugar into a bowl. Gradually add the olive (or canola) oil while stirring. Make sure that the sugar and oil are stirred completely together, leaving you with a consistent paste.

Next, apply the mixture to your body and scrub gently.

Rinse off with warm water and gently pat dry. You should smell as sweet as you look!
