Decorating your home for the holidays seems to bring out the magic of Christmas for all ages. Your bedroom should be no exception. Decorating your bedroom for the holidays is easy and fun to do, even if you're on a tight budget. Here are few decorating ideas to help you turn your bedroom into a winder holiday wonderland.

The plastic bulb and ball window treatment. We all have left over plastic balls or bulb ornaments that we have no room for on our tree. Using fishing sting, hang the bulbs at different levels in from of a window creates an eye catching masterpiece. The sunlight reflecting on them is absolutely beautiful in the daytime. This is an easy way to dress up a window or a large bedroom mirror.

Christmas trees galore. If you happen to have a small tree you can place it in your bedroom to create a dramatic holiday effect. Twinkling soft white lights on the tree can also set the mood for some inter peace. If you like the smell of a fresh Christmas tree, you can find small 3 foot trees at your local tree lot.

What is winter without snow. Well, even if you live where it don't snow you can still have snowflakes. By hanging snowflakes of different sizes from the ceiling you'll recreate a winter wonderland. Use fishing string, and thumb tacks to hang your snowflakes from. Make sure you keep them high enough you don't hit your head on them, and drop them lower in places you do not walk. You can find wonderful plastic snowflakes at any discount store, at affordable prices.

Your bed isn't safe from the spirit of Christmas. You can find wonderful sheets, and comforters on the market that are done in a holiday, or winter theme. You can also use colors that match your holiday personality to decorate your bed. If your more of a traditional person use colors such as red, and green. If your more of a whimsical person you can use colors such as white, and light blue.

Stuffed with fluff, and packed with love. We all have a holiday stuffed animal or two packed away. If not then you can find one at your local discount store for less then $15.00. By adding a favorite stuffed Christmas themed animal to a chair or bed, you'll reintroduce those childhood memories.

Mirrors and glass can be decorated too. Window clings that are found at any discount store also work on mirrors, and glass. This is a easy way to decorate your dressing mirror, lamps, glass vases, and more. Window clings are easy to apply, and peel off without causing any damage to the surface they are applied to.

Do your doors look bare? By using garland to trim around doors you can create a dramatic effect, with little effort. Don't forget to trim around your closet door as well. You can also decorate your bedroom door by adding a wreath.

We all love bows. You can find pretty pre-made velvet bows at your local discount store. These usually come on a card with several if you buy a smaller size, and they have a twisty tie already on them. Use these bows to add finishing touches such as on your garland, lamps, candle sticks, perfume bottles, and so on.

Presents! What would Christmas be without presents. Lets not forget the spirit of giving. Wrap a few gifts early and place them in a corner, under the tree, at the foot of the bed, etc... Not only are they a decoration, but they are going to be given away, which makes them a free decoration.

Nothing beats a touch of personalized love. Place greeting cards from loved ones near your dressing table, or nightstand. This will remind you every morning, and night that your loved. You can even frame cards from previous years, and hang them on your wall.
