Cloth masks work on skin because the liquid that is in them settles onto your skin, repairing and healing for thee 10-20 minutes that you have it on your face. Most cloth masks are one use only, and buying many can be very expensive. Learn how to make your own cloth masks, save money and have glowing skin!

First you have to make your cloth mask. You can make this out of any strong, light material, use a paper towel or if you want to re-use your masks, use a thin fabric like muslin. After you have your material, cut an oval shape that fits your face. This will be the base of your mask. You can do this by tracing out your face shape, or just cutting a random wide circle. Make it slightly larger than your face.

Next cut out the eyes, two ovals, and your mouth, a rectangular shape. Again, trace it if you want. To make a nose slit, just cut a horizontal slit, and then cut a vertical slit on each end, like a vertical U shape. This 'flap' will go over your nose.

Now that you have your cloth mask, you need to decide what masque will go on your face. Cloth masks can't hold solid masques, they have to be liquid. You usually can't buy liquid masks, so here's how to make a few!

To Moisturize: Mix one raw egg and one tablespoon of honey together until it is runny.

To Reduce Oil: Mix or blend well; 1 tsp lemon juice, 2 tsp rose water and 2 strawberries. If it's not runny enough, add more rose water.

For Pimples and Blackheads: Use the juice of 1 tomato. You don't have to be too careful, include some seeds but no skin.

Don't like the sound of any of these? Make your own! Use any kind of juice, toner, etc. Make sure it's runny enough. If you don't want to make a masque, you can use your toner or cleansing milk, this will work just as well!

With you home made masque or toner/cleansing milk, put your cloth into your mixture until it's soaked. Take your cloth out, and squeeze out excess water, but be careful not to squeeze too much out. Simply apply the mask to your face, pressing it down so it sticks. Leave this on your face for 15-20 minutes. When you're done, take off the mask. You can wait until the excess dries on your face or press it into your skin.

After this, you should have happy, glowing skin that cost no more than $2!
