Take an empty glass jar such as one from baby food or even from jelly. Wash it thoroughly. If you want you can even take some bleach and add it to the water when you wash out the jar. Be sure that the jar is sturdy enough to hold the electric brush. To decorate the jar, buy some acrylic paints and you can paint on any kind of scene that you want on the jar. If you bathroom is in a Hawaiian theme, you can paint a beach scene or some palm trees on the jar. You could also let your child have some dun and let them paint what they want on the jar as well. If you are not feeling creative, you can just paint the whole jar one color to match in the with color scheme of your bathroom. Now you have a sturdy container that matches your bathroom to hold your electric toothbrush.
If you don't want your electric toothbrush to sit out on our sink or your shelf, then another idea for an electric toothbrush holder is one that goes in your drawer or cabinet. Purchase a plastic silverware tray that will fit in your drawer in your vanity or up in your bathroom cabinet. You can find cheap plastic silverware trays at discount and outlet stores for less than $5. Place the tray in the drawer or cabinet and you now have a specific spot for your electric toothbrush along with the extra toothbrush heads. If your family has more than one toothbrush or you share a toothbrush with different heads, this can also be a great way to hold all your electric toothbrush supplies. Simply use a permanent marker to mark which one of the slots belongs to who and that is the person's very own brush storage area. This saves the confusion of who's toothbrush head belongs to who and keeps them out of the way.
If you are feeling really uncreative and just want a simple electric toothbrush holder, then visit your local hair and beauty section at your nearest Wal-Mart or Target. There you will find little plastic buckets and cups that are used for organizing beauty and hair supplies. You can easily use of those for your electric toothbrush. They can be stored away in a cabinet or on the bank of your sink.
These are very simple and cheap ways to store your electric toothbrushes. You can always take one of these ideas and elaborate even more on them to make your electric toothbrush holder match your style.
