Rainbow Egg Card
1. In order to make the first card you need construction paper, glitter glue, glue and a markers. What you want to do is grab your favorite color construction paper and fold it in half. At the fold measure 2 ½ inches from the top of the measured fold to the bottom trace out an egg shape. After you have traced out the egg shape, cut along the lines (keep in mind not to cut the along the fold so that it can open up as a card). When you are done cutting, you should have a plane egg shaped card. The extra construction paper can be cut out into different shapes and glued onto your egg. Be creative and use all of the construction paper colors that you have. After you've finished pasting the construction paper onto your egg. Go around the edges with your scissors to get the extra construction paper off, and to refresh the shape of the egg. After you've touched up the edges grab a glitter pen and in cursive, or print, write "Happy Easter" or any chosen phrase on the front with a pencil. After you've written on the front trace it with a glitter pen. After the glitter has set and dry. Finally, write a note on the inside. Your loved ones will adore it!
Easter Picture Card
2. The second card will be a picture card. Take your favorite picture, it could be an image that goes with Easter, or it could be a picture of you and your family. The material you need for this card are scrap book paper (that resemble Easter colors, or have some connection to the holiday), colored markers, construction paper, and a pen. First you need to take your scrap book paper and fold it in half. Grab an old card and trace the rectangle from the fold on. The scrap book paper tends to a little larger than usual. Than chose construction paper and cut out the shape of an egg, and then decorate it with markers. Make sure it fits in the card. Get a 3x5 note card and fold it in half. Find a picture that fits in the half of the note card. Take that picture and glue in the egg. The picture should be in the egg, your egg should be decorated, and then glued on the scrap book traced card that you cut out first. Leave a little room at the top to write "Happy Easter," and inside write a sentimental card.
Bunny Card
3. If you have children this would be a great card for them to make for their family and friends. The first thing that you need to do is find a black and white outline of a bunny rabbit online. Type into Google, "printable color bunny." After you do this print out your favorite one, and paste it on a piece of construction paper (use a glue stick, but if you chose to use regular glue make sure to use it lightly). After it's glued on and dry, cut it out. Grab a 3x5 note card a write (use the blank side up) "Happy Easter, etc" on the back. Have your kids color them in with markers, crayons, or anything that you have.
I hope these three Easter Day card instruction gave you some great ideas. Happy Easter!
