The fall season is a great time to enjoy the changing leaves, pumpkins and getting ready for the coming holidays. Adding décor to your home can be quick and simple, without spending a lot of money. An easy centerpiece can be put together in a matter of minutes by simply finding a wreath that is made up of fall leaves, or vine. Next, fill the center with mini pumpkins and corn, and add fall leaves as a finishing touch. You can use natural products if you like, but the centerpiece will last much longer if it is artificial.
You can design your own wreath with just a few items from the craft store or outside. You can either buy or make a grapevine wreath, and attach fall flowers, berries and ribbon with a hot glue gun. Secure a wire loop at the top for easy hanging. If you would rather use the wreath for a coffee table display, just select a smaller vine and use whatever flowers and leaves you would like. You can even add a pillar candle to the center of the wreath, or glass candleholders.
If you happen to have a fireplace in your home, adding some decorations to your mantle can enhance the feel of the season. The fall colors work well for Thanksgiving, so you are able to use the pieces far into the holidays. As with the wreath or centerpiece, a mantle just takes a matter of minutes. You can arrange mini pumpkins on the mantle separated pillar candles, or you can also add fall leaves throughout the display. Garlands are also good choices, with mini pumpkins set out combined with festive leaves.
You can even use your fall décor outside! Arrangements of fall plants with pumpkins on a porch or steps can be a simple idea. Dried Corn can be used to make up an outdoor wreath, or even red berries in a vine wreath. You can decorate the outside with natural pieces, so it is possible for it to look more sophisticated than cutesy.
Most of the items you can use in your fall décor can be found outside. Tree branches or vines can be used for a multitude of ideas, as well as pine cones and fall foliage. Be creative in what you can decorate with!
