DIY Indie Bridal Bouquet

SDR2010
I am someone that loves flowers because they are an expression of beauty from nature and the true essence of beauty. The nice thing about working with flowers is that the type of flowers can alter them in order to match a theme for any occasion. You also can use them in order to achieve very easy do it yourself bridal bouquets to fit any there for an indie wedding. For example, if you choose to have a yellow theme for your wedding then you would use yellow flowers and if you choose white then you would use a different flower in order to coordinate the color of the event. The nice thing about an indie wedding is that it allows for freedom of expression and you are not limited to the flowers that you can use in making your own bridal bouquet. I have personal experience making a bridal bouquet from daisies for my sisters wedding recently. She loved sunflowers and she wanted a simple bridal bouquet that she could create herself for very inexpensively.

The first thing you will need to do is pick the flowers that you want to use for the bridal bouquet for the indie wedding. I love sunflowers and I have some growing in my yard so I picked 10 of them for the bridal bouquet. I also picked 10 full lilies in purple for the accent of the bridal bouquet. Once you have the flowers you will insert the flowers into a vase in alternating order. Put one of each color into the vase until there are no more flowers to be inserted into the case. You will then need to remove the flowers from the vase and hold them in place so that they are alternating between flower styles. Last you will need to unroll the tissue paper that will be used for the bottom of the bridal bouquet and insert the flowers. Wrap the piece tight and arrange the flowers so they are alternating and look beautiful. The wrapping step is optional and you can keep them in the vase with the water if you wish. However, the wrapping makes them easily portable and useable by the bride. Once you have done this you can present them to the bride and you have created the bridal bouquet by yourself. Remember this allows for the use of any of your favorite flowers and I use flowers that I grow.
