This article gives instructions on how to package a bath bomb for your orange wedding. Please use the following link to find instructions on how to make the bath bombs. This is the tutorial that I use to make mine. I would choose orange or another citrus essential oil in the bombs to go with the orange theme.
Packaging the bath bombs:
Materials list:
Plastic wrap- you can buy little plastic bags to put the bombs in. I bought 20 favor bags for .99 at Walmart a while ago. They came with twist ties. You could use any other kind of plastic wrap, but you want plastic wrap so bomb doesn't get on anything
Orange tulle- It all depends on how many bomb you want to make and how big you make them. I would say start off with 3 yards. Tulle is very cheap like around $1.5 a yard, so you won't be out too much money if you have extra tulle left.
Orange ribbon- Again this all depends on how many and how big you want your bows. The craft stores usually run sales on the thin ribbon. I have seen 3 spools for a $1 several times a year.
Orange cardstock or precut tags- I made my own tags for the favors but you could purchase precut tags or order personalized tags from ETSY. Depends on your time and talent available
Additional items: scissors, hole punch
How to make the orange favors:
1. Wrap the bath bomb in some kind of plastic wrapping. Secure with twist tie or even knot the top.
2. Cut a square of orange tulle. Play with this part a bit. Take a bath bomb and wrap it in the corner of the big sheet of tulle to see how much you want to use. Cut it and then use the 1st piece as a template for the rest of the favors.
3. Secure the tulle with a ribbon. Like with the tulle, play around with the ribbon to see how much you want to use to make a bow that you like.
4. Create a tag by cutting or punching out a tag from the orange cardstock. Skip this step if you brought pre made tags.
5. I wrote on my tags "You are the "BOMB"! Thanks for coming!" You can write whatever you would like on the tag. Usually people write something thanking their guests for coming.
6. Display your finished favors in a pretty basket or in a platter. You can also set one favor at each place setting at the wedding.
