Before the holiday gift giving goes on, the long history of sending a greeting cards starts. With sales for black Friday happening this week, why not get creative and make your own craft sentiment to say Merry Christmas. Everyone knows about Yule tide and pine trees lit for jolly ole Saint Nick. So, let this season break free of old times and let the good party festiveness be expressed with tropical bliss. I offer a few ideas to put iconic seasonal celebrations in a surrounding a rolling waves set next to a palm tree filled beach.

Before selecting the fashion of card stock, stick to concept and idea. Santa running after his reindeer jumping into the ocean, or sharing a cocktail with your picture on beach chairs are a few examples. Live characters open a humorous tone, which may or may be what you want to share with friends or family. If not, the plain symbols of Christmas could be laying a beach with a family photo above. Just suggestive themes to play with.

Now a plan is sitting and waiting to come to live on paper, think of how to transfer it. Crafts stores are filled with things for projects like this. Getting stencils of palm trees, stickers made to look like waves, green paints and so on will boost the originality involved.

Start by picking which blank cards are needed will set up the temple to make different designs of your choice. Print with graphics and photos straight from the home computer. Or, make the cards by hand applying decorations such as scrapbook 3-d's,or drawings. Each type of card requires it's own specially made product for that activity. Inkjet sells a package of card and envelopes to print unto. Also, a few online stores sell packs of blank cards to paint on and add to.

For the tropical, not your average, card try these mentioned extensions of my imagination. Feel free to print out the copy of Sunset Beach painting. I would like to see any cards anyone made from my article. Respond via comment and upload the shot. Happy Holidays to all.
