Supplies:
* 6 lightly pink colored roses
* 6 white cala lily
* 6-9 pieces if greenery
* floral tape
* Pink ribbon
* scissors
Steps to assemble your DIY pink bridal bouquet:
1. Gather the roses and trim them with the scissors.
Be sure to note the length that you need. Evening weddings require a longer stem length for the bouquet. This can vary by your location of course.
2. Gather the cala lilies and repeat step one. (Make sure the lilies length match the roses.)
You might tightly set them together. Another consideration is to make them more casual by arranging them as one rose, one tulip and one rose. Then you repeat the process.
3. Repeat this same step with the greenery.
More casual weddings require the process of one rose, one cala lily and a piece of greenery around that. If you have a formal wedding then you arrange the roses and cala lily in the center with the greenery around the flowers. It is up to you.
4. Arrange the flowers as pictured. (You can vary the arrangement to suit your needs.)
This arrangement is for a more casual wedding. As mentioned before, you can alter that if you like. Modern times have changed all of the wedding rules.
5. Take the tape and wrap that around the base of the stems.
This secures the bouquet. It looks polished.
6. Cut the tape and finish wrapping the tape neatly around the base of the floral arrangement.
Cut this to your preference. Personalize your design as you like. Most people like to end the wrap where you will place the ribbon.
7. Wrap the ribbon around the base of the flowers at the top of the base.
This is normally tightly tied. It can also be more casual. It's up to you.
8. Trim with the scissors to your taste.
You normally cut these at an angle but again, the word of the day is personalize. Make it as you like it.
Remember to make the day your own. If you think pink and want a pink wedding then you can make a DIY pink bridal bouquet that matches you perfectly. Be creative and think outside of the box. Those aspects make your special day uniquely yours.
