These fun and hip locker accessories are great craft projects to make with your kids. It is a creative way to get kids prepared to go back to school. These accessories are a fun way to have the kids decorate and organize the inside of their locker. Each accessory can be made to match their personality, and decorated in your kid's favorite colors and themes.

Basic Supplies
- Scissors
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Magnet strips
- Fun stickers
- Beads
Ruler Rack
Lay a ruler lengthwise on a flat surface. Evenly space three self stick hooks across the ruler. Glue a magnet on each end of the back of the ruler. Glue decorative beads and other fun embellishments across the top of the ruler. Your kids can hang their keys or jewelry on this locker accessory.
Bottle Cap Magnets
Save all the bottle caps from various products. Cut round circles from scrap paper that will fit on the inside of the bottle caps. Have the kids write fun, inspirational words on these circles. Glue the circles to the inside of the caps. Glue a piece of magnet to the back of each cap. Kids can have fun putting them throughout the entire inside of their locker.
Basket Organizer
Glue ribbon, beads, stickers or other accessories on a small wicker basket. Place pens, pencils, small pad of paper and other various school supplies inside this basket. This basket is a great way to keep school supplies organized inside the locker.
Flower Photos
Cut flowers from colored posterboard. Glue pictures of your friends and family on the center of each flower. Outline the edges of the flower with a glitter pen. Glue a magnet centered on the back of each flower. These flowers will put a smile on your kid's face every time they open their locker.
Vanity Mirror
Glue beads, feathers, ribbons and other embellishments that your kids choose around the outer edges of a small mirror. Glue a magnet on each edge of the back of the mirror. This is a great accessory to put on the back of the locker door. Kids have to make sure they look cool before heading to class.
Message Board
Paint the frame of a mini chalkboard in a bright, vibrant color. Before the paint drys, sprinkle glitter around the frame. Carefully shake the chalkboard to remove excess glitter. Glue a small ruler by the edge across the bottom of the board. This can hold the chalk, or it can be used to tape or pin messages to it. Glue a magnet on each corner of the back of the chalkboard. This is a great accessory to have in a locker so kids can leave reminder notes about school events or assignments.
