Here is what you will need:
Cardstock-This can be found at your local craft store for about .25 a page and you can make two invitations out of ever sheet. You should pick on team color for your card stock.
Scissors- These can usually be found about the house or at your local craft store.
Glue- Again around your house or at a local craft store
Ruler- Found around the house or at the dollar store or craft store
Marker- Black is always good but you can choose a team color if it will show up on the card stock.
Construction Paper- You can find the large packets either at the dollar store or check your craft store to see if they sell individual pages so you can just purchase the colors you want. The color should be the opposite team color than the card stock.
Football Foam Stickers- These you will find at your local craft store. They are actual foam with adhesive sticky on the back. You can purchase them in a small packet for around $2.50 or in a larger tub for about $6. The size you buy will depend on the amount of Super bowl party invitations you are making.
To assemble your Super bowl party invitations first take the car stock and cut it in half either long ways or down the middle. Then take one half and lay it over a piece on construction paper. Trace around the card stock onto the construction paper. Place the ruler inside the traced out line and use it to make a square. This square will be the boarder for the front of your Super bowl party invitation. Cut out the boarder and glue it to your card stock. I suggest you leave it to dry while you make the other boarders for additional cards to keep the boarder from slipping on the card when you fold it.
Once you are done with all the boarders go back to the first card and fold it in half to make it into a card shape. On the inside of the card you can write "Your Invited Guest Name" and then write Date: Time: Place: RSVP #: This will give your guest the information they need for your party. On the front of the card you can peel and stick the football foam stickers to make a neat football theme. Now you have great DIY Super bowl party invitations that show off your team's colors for a fraction of the price you would have paid to have them made.
