To Make Super Mario Video Game Birthday Party Invitations
Begin by cutting the cardstock down into invitation size pieces that are 4 inches wide and 6 inches long. You will need one cardstock piece for each invitation or guest.
Place one color of paint on each paper plate. The fourth paper plate will be used to mix a bit of brown paint with a little bit of white paint to create a tan color.
Using the large circle stamp, dip the stamp into the red paint and stamp the center of a blue cardstock piece. Do this for all of the cardstock pieces and set them aside to dry for at least an hour.
Once the birthday party invitations have dried you will begin making the white spots on the mushrooms of the Super Mario Brother's video game birthday party invitations. Using the smaller circular stamp, dip it in white paint and then make a few spots on the red circle of each invitation.
Using the tan paint, dip the rectangular stamp into the paint and then stamp it onto the lower half in the center of the red mushroom cap. This will create the mushroom stem for the Super Mario Brother's video game birthday party invitations.
Create two small line on the mushroom stems of the invitations using the paintbrush and the dark brown paint. These will be the eyes of the mushrooms. Allow all paint to dry thoroughly before continuing.
On the front side of the invitations, above the mushrooms, use the felt tip marker to write "You're Invited" on the video game birthday party invitations.
On the back side of the invitations you can use the ruler to mark horizontal lines across the invitations--1 for the Name of the Birthday Boy, 1 line for the place of the party, 1 for the date and time, and a final line for an RSVP. Mark the lines with the marker and then write each bit of information on the line.
Use invitation size envelopes and Super Mario Brother's stickers to seal the video game birthday party invitations!
