Swarovski crystals are so pretty and they are great for making the dullest thing look glamorous in seconds. There are companies that bejewel things for you, but it is really expensive. If you can do it yourself it can save you a lot of money. Companies that bejewel items often ask for hundreds of dollars only because they Swarovski crystals tend to be so small but that shouldn't stop you!
Material Needed to Bejewel:
Swarovski Crystals (The smaller the crystal that more time it will take, and the more money you will need because they cover a smaller amount of surface area).
E600 Industrial Strength Medium Viscosity Clear
Tweezers
2 Plastic Plates
And your chosen item to bejewel ** (Start off small & gain skills as you take on more challenging items)
The first thing you need to do is get comfortable with your tweezers. They are going to be the most important tool to bejewel with because they will allow you to pick up the jewels quickly so that you can easily pick up, glue the base and place. Get comfy with your tweezers!
The second thing that you need to do is to pour out your selected jewels onto one plate. Not all of the jewels just a little bit at a time so that you don't lose any (because they are expensive). On the other plate you need to have for your glue because you don't want your glue and jewels on one plate just in case the jewels move around.
Start off with just one color and then when you start getting better at bejeweling you can start adding designs and do a lot of other crazy things! Well pour out a little glue onto your second plate and cap the glue. Then pick up your tweezers and pick up one of your Swarovski crystals (hold it tightly so that it doesn't get out and fall into the glue). While you have the Swarovski crystal in the tight grip of your tweezer, while still holding the crystal place dab it in the glue without letting go. Right now you should have a crystal at the tip of your tweezer with a little bit of glue on it. Now, place it on the desired spot of your selected item that you want to bewejewl! After you've gotten use to it for awhile you can pick up the pace. I hope this has helped you bejewel.
Keep in mind that cards, picture frames and literally anything can use a little sparkle to make it extra special! Good luck bejeweling!
