When planning any party, it is important to give yourself time to figure out what you want in your decoration. Take time to look for a theme, party favors, and decorations to match what you want. Visualize what you want, and then hit your local thrifty and party décor stores for cheap items.

Balloons: balloons are great part of any party. They look beautiful, colorful and are inexpensive. All you need are balloons, which you can get at any party store and even 99 cents stores, and your helium tank. If you are creative or know someone who is, you can make an arc to put at the VIP table where the celebrant and special guests would sit. If you wish, you can also get personalized balloons from party décor stores.

Table Covers: You can get table covers of various colors from local fabric stores. Cut them according to the size of your tables, giving some foot on each ends to drape the table and under. Use of dual colors work best, as it adds beauty to your decors. If you choose to, you can buy or rent already made covers from rental companies in your area.

Centerpieces: Simple centerpieces add incredible beauty to your tables. Getting glass vases at local thrift shops and filling them with marbles and two or three stems of various color roses will look great. You could also put a bottle of apple ciders or other non-alcoholic beverages and tie a balloon to it and put a couple at each table. Guest will compete to be the one to take home the centerpiece décor. You can also get sweet 16 centerpiece items for under a dollar at various décor stores online.

Flowers: if you know you will be having a party of this kind, you probably want to maintain a nice flower garden. In the event that you don't have one, you can always go to your local flower shop. Favors: you can make your own party favors by getting organza bags, buying what you want in each bag, and getting some helping hands in putting them together and tying them with beautiful ribbons.
