DNA Activation: A New Modality

V. Sanders,
In recent years we have learned more and more about DNA. Forensic science, cloning and DNA identification techniques have brought terms that were once limited to use in mysterious science labs right into out living rooms, and even into our own daily language and understanding. While the medical uses of DNA are widely known and sometimes controversial there are those out there who say that DNA has purposes yet uncovered. the holistic health community is coming to it's own conclusions on what your DNA may mean to you, and the future of mankind.

DNA is a nucleic acid contained in every cell of the body. It is often called a blueprint for life, because while maintaining a certain structure, each person's DNA is unique and contains the information required to build the unique being that we call ourselves. Most people , if asked on the street, could tell you that much about DNA, but what the average person might not be aware of, is that as much as 90% of that DNA is what is called 'junk DNA'.

While scientists have determined what 10-20% of DNA does and has ascribed a function to each piece of it, the remainder is still a mystery. While it doubtlessly does something, and is not junk at all scientists can only determine that it's origin is as yet discovered. Theories as to the purpose of this junk DNA include evolutionary left overs, a protective buffer against mutations, and an as yet unused code that provides a basis for own future evolution. It is the possibility of our own evolution and healing with this mystery DNA that has some members of the spiritual and holistic healing communities very excited.

DNA activation has become a reasonably popular concept among holistic practitioners and clients in a very few short years. Holistic practitioners the world over claim to have found the methods to activate our unused DNA and thus, take a step forward in our own evolution. Where would we, as humans need evolution? In areas of physical wellness and in abilities, thought until now to be 'superhuman'. While that claim may sound fantastic, the reader must understand that only a short while ago the idea that we possessed this complex building block of DNA, or that we might be communicating with a person via the phone and watching them at the same time was mere science fiction.

The fact is, DNA is still more mystery than hard fact to scientists. What does DNA activation Therapy claim to do and how does it do it? For this you have to be prepared to accept more mysticism and less fact than with other modalities, and far more variance in practices . DNA activation is usually done by introducing energy aimed at stimulating unused DNA to 'wake up' , in a sense.

The energy can be sound, light or other energetic waves . My first exposure to a DNA activation method was through a series of cassettes, but since then I have come across different techniques~ some that are mysterious and kept 'secret'. Those who practice these modalities claim that results are startling and many people see benefits and changes right away.

While hard scientific evidence eludes pursuit on this topic, it is not unthinkable that such a thing might be impossible. We have , as of yet, only stumbled upon the inner workings of our own DNA, we are by no means masters of the science. Common sense causes one to ask, how we have changed so much over time if there is not some truth to the theory that our DNA holds not only records of pour past selves, but the stepping stones for our future. However, one must bear in mind, that while it is is being sold as a holistic health service in many places, DNA activation bears a lot more similarity at this point to magic than to medicine.

For those who are curious but not sold on this technique check out some free DNA activation information and services on the web, and see what happens for you. Above all do all the research you can on the topic, and do not be swayed by person's who would charge upwards of 100 dollars a session for these therapy sessions when the information is free, available, and at this point~ less than swaying.
