Toothbrush
Your toothbrush is very helpful in helping you to have sweet breath. Always brush your teeth using at least a medium strength toothbrush, and invest money into a really good toothbrush that will brush really well. Also brush your tongue too. Try brushing after every meal. In addition, brush your teeth when you first wake up in the morning to help get rid of stinky morning breath.
Mouthwash
Mint mouthwash can do wonders on helping bad breath. Use mouthwash right after you brush your teeth in the morning. Make sure you gargle the mouthwash for at least a minute. Then spit it out. Your breath should be minty fresh.
Floss
Flossing your teeth is a good thing to do when you have bad breath. Flossing gets the food out that is stuck in between your teeth. This helps from having the smell of rotting food in your mouth. Just be sure not to over floss because this can cause your gums to bleed.
Mints
Some people like to pop mints into their mouths to help freshen their mouths. Mints come in various forms. Altoids are very strong mints that seem to help people with their bad breath. The good thing about mints is that you can pop them into your mouth in any social gathering without making it too obvious that you are trying to freshen up your breath. Plus, they are easy to carry around.
Food
Watch out for certain types of food that can make your breath smell worse. For example, try to stay away from onions. Also keep away from garlic. Spicy food and seafood can make your breath smell bad. Try to eat more bland foods that do not have such strong flavors to them giving you stronger bad smelling breath.
Drinks
Also watch out for certain types of drinks. They can make your breath smell worse too. Your morning coffee may be killing your breath. You also will want to stay away from alcohol if you have bad breath. For example, wine and beer can make your normally fresh breath into a really foul smelling breath. Water is a good choice to help your breath.
