Do You Believe in the Afterlife, Mind-Reading, and Relationship Pulls?

An Experiment on Popular Belief Regarding the Concept of Energy to Support These Notions

J Gorman
So many books and television series have begun tackling the issue of human energy. Where do we get it from? Where does it go? How does it relate to our daily lives?

Read through the following overview of the subjects and then develop your stance on the issue at hand.

Introduction

There are at least two certainties in life: (1) All matter is composed of energy, and (2) energy cannot be created, nor can it be destroyed.

These two truths provide a basis for an argument supporting on a large scale, both the afterlife and mind-reading, but on a smaller scale (in terms of belief, not importance), energy currents in human relationships.

Part One: The Afterlife

The subject of much debate, there is possibly no way to conclude that there is or is not an afterlife. There are, however, ways to theorize the prospect of its existence.

There is, perhaps most importantly, the concept of a soul. If it is true that each individual has his or her own soul, then it must be concluded that this soul does not just disappear at the time of death. After all, it is composed of energy. This means that upon human death, the soul must reinstate as either a spirit or a reincarnation.

In my experience, most believe in three possibilities for an afterlife. These include:

  • Purgatory --> Heaven/Hell
  • Reincarnation
  • Ghostly Apparitions

It is one thing for a body to decompose, but within every body, there is a living being that thinks and emotes. It would be absurd to believe that this seemingly independent identity inside of a host body would crumble along with the physical corpse itself.

Part Two: Mind-Reading

If everything is energy, then thoughts should be considered energy as well. When someone thinks, that energy is released into the world, and it is comprehensible that another person might tap into the energy, thereby "reading" another's mind.

It is difficult for some people to believe in communication with ghosts. What if television hosts such as John Edwards are really only reading the minds of the people they speak with? Certainly, if someone were promising to contact your late relatives, you would have expectations and hopes on what they would relay to you about their past or your current life or future. Those who claim to speak with the dead may really only be reading your mind and telling you what you want to hear.

Children often state similar ideas at precisely the same moment in time. Twins claim to be inherently connected with each other. Some believe this is all nonsense, and others strive to open themselves to the energies around them in order to maximize their intake capacity.

Part Three: Energy in Relationships

Many people fail to realize that their energy significantly impacts the lives of others. Happiness can uplift a soul and negativity can drain a soul. Each person is directly responsible for their immediate environment.

This is why there is such a big issue regarding power and control. When someone has the control, then another person doesn't. The "other" is weakened as the "one" gains power.

In the creation of this weakened state, a person releases their internal energy for the use of their controller. The controller then possesses double the energy of their companion, who has forcefully become spiritually weakened.

Included in this part are abusive relationships, but also seemingly normal parent/child, husband/wife, friend/friend, etc. relationships.

Most people fall into one of four categories. These personality types include:

  • Intimidator
  • Interrogator
  • Aloof
  • Poor Me
The contrasting behaviors of these groups of people make easy pairs for control drama matches. For instance, the poor me related to both the intimidator and the interrogator because they seek to control when the poor me wants attention.

In Conclusion

There are a couple of issues covered here. In wrapping them up into a nice package, a few questions arise in regards to each of the parts. How do you respond?

  1. Once you become aware of the energy availability in your immediate surroundings, you will more often notice the correlation between power and weakness in yourself and those who surround you. Have you had any experiences with power and control lately? Have your children made claims for attention and have you responded accordingly?
  2. When you are among others with whom you are spiritually in tune, you will begin to recognize the similarities in your thoughts and opinions. Do you really feel these emotions or are you picking up on the emotions of others?
  3. There are many people who often state they are uncomfortable within their own skin. Others innately know information which they have never learned. Do you notice yourself being drawn to certain facets of education or art in which you have "a natural talent?" Do you believe in the possibility that these wisdoms have come from experiences in previous lives?
