Do You Believe in Ghosts?

Do you believe in Ghosts? The Bible clearly states that man is destined to live once and then die. His spirit rest until judgment. He, man, can not return to earth. Once man dies, his spirit leaves earth, goes on a journey and then rest in the bosom of Abraham until his judgment. Man cannot return to earth. Hebrews 9:27 teaches us that "Man is destined to die once, and after that he will face judgment."

However, on the other hand, the Bible teaches us that there are angels and there are demons. Angels are Heavenly spirits that walk among men performing good works as commanded by God. Angelic beings walk among men, on earth daily. While here, they perform good deeds for God. They are instrumental in guiding, protecting and consoling us when we are in need. Angels do the work of God only. They are faithful to our Father, directed by His will and obedient in performing and doing His work here on earth. Be encouraged in our Angelic visitors.

Understand however, demonic spirits are at work daily also. Demonic spirits work hard every second of the day directing us in the opposite path. Demonic spirits seek to steal, kill, destroy and negatively impact our lives on every turn. Demons can, do and will take on disguises of light, as relatives and other deceptive images trying to make us think they are angelic spirits. Only through prayer, the 'Word' and a strong relationship with God can we divert the evil of demons and move them out of our path.

It is only by our faith in God that we can understand the deception of demons, their evil work and the destruction they work so hard in performing in our lives. To win the battle, we must turn to the Lord for we are not capable of fighting the battle or winning it on our own. The battle has already been won by the Lord. Remember, He gave his life over 2000 years ago to save ours. So, His life was sacrificed in the fight to save ours. The battle was won the day, at the moment he died on the cross.

Demonic spirits have the ability to take on the appearance of loved ones. They can also make us believe we are being visited by a fallen family member, a loved one, relative or friend. Remember they are masters of deceit and deception.

Demons understand more so than us, that when we lose a loved one, we have an intensely strong desire to have one last moment, one last visit, one last word with that person. They understand we will give almost anything to be able to say one last time how much we love them, or to ask for forgiveness, or to touch them one last time. They use this desire to deceive us into believing that a loved one has returned to visit us and guide us.

Demons are aware that man is in such a traumatic state today, that they are turning towards the paranormal more than ever before. Demons have the power to reach into our back ground, find bits of information and use that information to deceive.

Yes, demons know we believe in ghosts. Yes, there are spirits that roam this earth. Spirits that can do good and spirits that can perform horrible feats of evil. Do not allow yourself to fall victim to demonic spirits that want to steal your soul. Believe in ghosts, but understand, those ghosts are not spirits of our loved ones gone on, but of angelic spirits here on earth performing the works of God and demonic spirits doing the evil works of Satan.
