There have been studies done to determine whether or not our face shape gives any insight into what kind of personality we fit into. We are not cut out of a certain personality cookie cutter and do not all fit into just one general category. But after further observances, there have been some insights into what the features of our face mean. Now remember, this information is broad and not carved in stone.
It seems those who have shallow or narrow foreheads have many obstacles in life. Obstacles in the life of the person with a narrow forehead may include an unfulfilling social life and constraints in their family life. This person usually needs to think things through thoroughly. The shallow forehead, especially one with a low hairline, tends to have problems in their career and problems with parents between the ages of 15 and 30.
You are likely to be very intelligent if you sport a pointed forehead and your hairline is set back. As long as it is not too narrow, you may be one smart cookie.
Your receding forehead may expose you as an impatient, spontaneous character. Bad employment and business opportunities may plague you if you have an indented forehead. Make sure to proceed cautiously in these aspects of your life. If a powerful eyebrow ridge compliments your indented forehead, you may be impulsive, quick to judge others, and quite ambitious, likely with the gossip, seeing as you are judgmental.
Your flat forehead displays your practicality. You like facts and only the facts. A wide forehead shows practicality too. You are clever and proficient at getting your duties done. You have high ideals and you are swarming with ideas. A deep and high rounded forehead depicts your idealism. You have a desire for strong friendships.
The eyebrows speak volumes about reputation, temperament, and fame. A well developed brow constitutes great dexterity. People with this brow are observant and often have jobs like engineer, architect, draft person, or something in the electronics field.
The highly arched, dramatic brow is often seen on movie stars. Those who don't naturally have an arched brow will create it by waxing or tweezing. Pay attention to the celebrity brow next time you page through the tabloids. They are usually highly arched and considered ideal.
The sensitive person will often have a straight brow. They have good taste.
If you are cautious, you likely have a higher set brow. You think before you make major decisions. If you tend to be impulsive, your brow is likely set low. You may find that you wish you'd have thought things over a little better after having done them.
If you have the uni-brow, and I'm sure you've heard there's a caterpillar on your forehead you poor thing, you are likely possessive and jealous. You have an intense personality. You have to keep these things controlled, or you're likely to scare people away.
We have heard the eyes are the windows to our souls. We say a lot with our eyes. Most of us can communicate anything with a single look. Remember the time you flushed your brother's sock down the toilet? You likely got "The Look" from your mom or dad. With that particular look, you knew you were in trouble.
Our eyes can reflect cold, angry, loving, weak or strong looks. Those around us can tell how we're feeling many times just by paying attention to the looks we are giving.
We don't often run across someone with black eyes. They are rare and striking. People with black eyes don't tiptoe around a situation. They have no problem saying what's on their mind because of their strong nature.
Green-eyed people are usually very intellectual. They contain large amounts of energy and are very inventive. They tend to be spontaneous and strong-willed.
The blue-eyed individual is sensitive and gentle. They may like to flirt.
Grey eyes reveal an enormous amount of imagination and intelligence. They are typically refined, less-passionate people.
The brown-eyed, however, are extremely passionate and loyal. The brown-eyed character demands loyalty or tends to let their eyes wander elsewhere. If loyalty is returned to them, they are perfectly happy in their family life and a life-time commitment with their partner. They work hard and are happy with the little things life has to offer. Generosity is a trait of the brown-eyed person.
Talking to someone with heavy eyelids? If this person always looks like they've had a few too many at the local pub, even though they haven't drank a drop, they might be lazy. They also may have what is sometimes referred to as 'bedroom eyes'. This person has a libidinous nature and is not likely to be a committed worker or partner.
Cold, unflinching eyes with small pupils have the look of cruelty. Put these eyes together with tightly pursed lips and a pointed nose, and you've got yourself one ruthless individual.
It's hard for me to talk to someone who can't look me in the eyes when they talk to me. I don't like a stare-off either, but some eye contact with the one I'm talking to is something I require. Sometimes the shy or discouraged person might have trouble maintaining eye contact during conversation or at all.
When talking to someone, it's rude to never make eye contact with the recipient. If instead you rifle through papers, look beyond them, and hardly make an attempt to acknowledge that someone is speaking to you, you are inconsiderate. Those who can't look you in the eyes are likely dishonest and trying to hide their true intentions.
Apparently, the ideal nose is one of straight, high form. It has a full and fleshy tip with protected nostrils. The fleshy tip indicates a warm personality and empathy for others. They set high standards for themselves and have good manners. Oversized nose tips result in violent tendencies. The larger the tip, the more likely that an act of violence will occur.
A straight nose shows methodical discipline. A nose with a high bridge that is pointed displays a high degree of energy and has a curious mind. A very large nose reveals high energy, but this individual might be more concerned with material things than things that are spiritual. A tiny nose is found on the shy, reserved type. A thin nose portrays someone who is on edge, easily irritated, and high strung. A wide nose may take on an 'I don't care' attitude and is very expressive. The long nose is anxious and prudent. A short one is joyful and natural. A short snub of a nose is friendly but keeps secrets. Their approach to daily life is slow and careful.
Our mouths are good for eating and communication. Many people overuse this feature, sometimes eating and communicating entirely too much. Our lips give us the ability to nurture others in our loving relationships. When the upper lip is quite a bit thinner than the lower lip, it shows an inability to give back what we get in our relationships. If the lower lip is the thinner of the two, this indicates a very giving nature.
Narrow lips reveal someone who has trouble sharing deep feelings. They are unemotional. Full lips convey a sensitive, caring person. When both lips are of equal distribution, this reveals a well meaning and communicative personality.
Great big lips mean that someone has expensive taste. This person is generous and expressive. When in a spot, the large lipped person can become overly vocal and excessively frustrated.
Small lips are selfish and miserable. Lips that curve downward show discontent. Curved up shows cheerfulness.
Stamina and endurance are traits of the one with a strong jaw line. This person can also be stubborn. If the jaw exceeds the other features, it may mean that the person has strong convictions and is not easily convinced by others' opinions. Protruding chins display a determined and independent person. Receding chins reveal a weak willed personality. Undeveloped cheeks means you are laid back and quite happy.
Cheeks can give some insight into our power and authority. Prominent, high set cheeks with a warm glow are ideal. Eastern opinion says that shiny, chubby cheeks are an indication of digestive distress. We can tell by the color of our cheeks how we are feeling. When they are overly red, there may be a bronchial and lung imbalance. Shiny and red might indicate a heart or gallbladder problem. Red and rashy might be a sign of trouble in the intestines.
Now here's a feature that all of us could practice using more. The ears should have fleshy inner and outer helixes. Thin, poorly shaped ears might reveal health trouble. If the ears have hardly any lobes, you might have a difficult time finding purpose in life and be unresponsive in situations. Small ears show good instinct. Large ears are on the intellectual one. Long ears are generally impractical. Protruding ears reveal an original thinker who is lonely and a non conformist. When ears are set close to the head, this is an indication of a thrifty person who plans ahead.
Some of these features may describe you and some may not. When we know what makes us strong and what makes us weak we can do a better job of planning our future rendevous. We can also get a look at others and what character traits they might have. With this knowledge, we can better deal with the personality in front of us.

Post a CommentThanks for this article, as an artist I find it useful to use stereotypes sometimes to get characters across to people so this has been really useful.
what kind of small lips that the Chinese love most?
If you wanna know about personality and colors, go to http://www.catalogs.com/info/people/what-does-your-favorite-color-mean.html
I agree Scarlet Dream; it's as accurate as horoscopes too...it's as accurate as much of history, which we know is NOT. LOLOLLOLOLOLOOLOLLLOLOLOL. Seriously buddy. Kenny wants references...Seek out an evil jinn, get possessed, drink a bottle of hot sauce, proceed to emergency room where they'll pump out the hot sauce, which has killed the evil jinn, and it will all be clear to you. :/ True or not, Sophia still gets paid. :)
can we get some references?
This stuff is probably about as accurate as Christianity LOLOLLOLOLOLOOLOLLLOLOLOL.
No, seriously.
"Lips that curve downward show discontent. Curved up shows cheerfulness".
Doesn't take a f**cking genius to work that one out...
Now it is possible to automatically detect personality by foto - odosh.com can do that
You can't be serious... not to sound conceded but I have a great look as defined by the above, but I still don't buy this. People don't have the option of being born a certain way or place. To say or hint the face defines personality traits is just absurd. A lot of these descriptions are just re-worded from other descriptions.
What will some of these people do? Try to find a yin yang balance on the face?
