Paranormal Cops is a show based out of Chicago. The show is about cops that are off duty investigating cases of paranormal activities in their area. These are tough guys that investigate a lot of evidence around the haunting. I think it is a decent show but like many of the shows out there they have a medium which makes it harder to believe. A medium or psychic comes in and all of a sudden knows everything about the haunting. It is hard to believe but if it is true it is a great skill.
My favorite ghost show is Ghost Hunters one of the original ghost shows, they have a company named TAPS. This company was founded by two RotoRooter guys who go around with their crew and look for ghosts. They haunting are fun to watch but the characters in the crew are funny to watch. Another great ghost show is the show the Haunting, a show on the Animal Planet channel. It is based on how animals are affected by paranormal activities. I think it is a great new approach to look at the paranormal world. It is a really creepy show and the E.V.P. (electric voice phenomena) is scary to listen to.
Going back to the E.V.P., I think that is few of the devices they use in these shows that are hard to debunk. I mean sometimes they say they hear things on their recorders and it could be seriously anything. But on a few shows that I have watched I heard plain as day words or phrases and it is super creepy. Also seeing is the best way to believe on a few of the shows including Ghost Hunters you will be able to see objects moving. That also is hard to debunk unless it is set up to move in some way, magnets, strings, or other devices to move it. So really unless you really believe I guess all these shows can be just watched just for entertainment purposes and not to actually prove ghost exists.
I want to believe and these shows are super fun to watch. But I personally have never experienced anything and I most of the stuff on the show can be faked or staged. So what do you think? Do you believe in ghosts? Do you believe these shows are real?
