Do you often see your children doing things on the computer, with MP3s, iPhones, and other digital technology that you can't even do? With the increase in identity theft, computerized stalkers, and the open resource the Internet gives our children at their finger tips, parents must be prepared for the digital world. The Birmingham community is preparing their parents, and teaching them how to protect themselves in our digital age.
Learn more about surviving in the digital age as a parent with Alan November's "Parents Digital Survival Kit." This event is free to the public and will be held on Sept. 29 at the Seaholm Auditorium. Located at 2436 West Lincoln in Birmingham.
The event starts at 7 p.m. and it's suggested that you arrive early for optimal seating. For more information, visit: www.birmingham.k12.mi.us.
