There are a lot of American's who take multiple kinds of medicine everyday. Some people have taken some for years, and still might not know all there is to know about that one pill. All they know, is the Dr ordered it, and they have to take it.

With much of our society being so health conscious, wouldn't it just make sense to be that watchful about the drugs we take? Do you ask the Dr about that new pill he or she is giving you. Do you read the information about that new medicine when you get it from the pharmacy?

Here a list of four, very important websites on checking your medicines. What kind, what dosage, what side-effects, and other information. With so many American's being online today, there's no reason not to check out your medicine!

The Rx List: The Internet Drug Index

On this website, you can check the drug, see what it looks like, check out the side-effects if any, and check for any conflicts between this pill and another that your taking. It also has a section on Vitamins and herbs.

This drug website lists by A - Z, by drug "family", and by condition. It also list's any side-effects for that drug, and another list for any conflicts between drugs and/or food. This site also has a drug list for Veterinary drugs for your pet's!

WebMD: The Drug List

On this website, you can check by the name of a drug, by the looks of a drug, and by your conditionEach drug listing has a side-effect section and a conflict section to it.

Mayo Clinic Drug Index

This is from the famous Mayo Clinic people. It's a look-up for BOTH prescription and over-the-counter drugs. You can also check out Vitamins and Test procedures you may have up-coming on your next trip to the Dr's office.
