Do You Know Why You Vote the Way You Do?

David Hooton
This article really represents my passion, getting people to wake up politically and see what is going on around them. Like most Americans, there is no political entity to represent me when the corrupt politicians get together with their corporate overlords and divide up stakes amongst the rich. At no other point in post war America has the divide between the haves and have-nots ever been greater. While the rich all have multiple properties scattered through out the country the working class is faced with the highest rate of home foreclosures ever. Our leaders, fly in private jets that have amenities that rival most of our homes while the workers wonder if they can afford to drive to work today.
Now before it sounds like I am stumping for either party, I find them both just as guilty of the crimes against humanity that resulted in our ruined economy. In fact I hope to show that the parties are often in collusion with each other. In our system we must often vote for one party or the other it does not mean we must accept them as guardian of our country

Now do not get me wrong I AM NOT advocating for any whack job fringe group that wishes to over throw the government. I feel the system can work just the one holding the reins choose for it not to work.
Even though the current Political Action Groups who really pay our leaders salaries are an outward display of all that is wrong the real injustice blame has to be has to be shared by the majority of us.
When we allow our selves to follow devoutly a political party because our neighbors and family belong, we are the cause. We should ask why we believe the way we do and always do research from reliable sources before entering a voting booth
When a individual or group tries to pass any legislation we should ask who is buying them a house right after the vote. As Americans we must start watching out for the good of each other and not the idle rich. They certainly don't watch out for us.

When an argument like this one is posed the psuedo-royal always accuses the truth knower as trying to provoke class warfare well I would like to propose that the ultra-wealthy have already fired the opening salvo in that conflict! By the raising the cost of fuel, food, energy, clothes and entertainment while at the same time suppressing living wage raises the rich are taking money from us and lowering our standard of living. I am not sure about the rest of you, but I am fed up and my children will live better than this. The time for awakening is now sheeople!

The powers that be persuade us to vote for their parties by accusing all other votes to wasting a vote!
Well a growing number of governors and even a smattering of Congressmen have been put in office by wasted votes. In 1998, enough people in Minnesota even squandered their votes to get a former a WWF wrestler, Jesse Ventura elected. Please people give thinking a chance. I am not telling you , who to vote for just do it and be educated when you do!
