Until the end of time."
The songs highlighted here all convey the many ways men are affected by love. Growing up I was told many things about love but nothing remotely close to understanding it from a male's point of view. I initially thought that all men were hard, emotionless and did not care about loving someone unconditionally. This may seem like rather harsh generalizations but I am sure I am not the only woman who was conditioned to feel this way. I hear from men all the time that women do not understand that although a man appears to be tough he still likes to feel appreciated by his significant other. I now understand that although a male and female's approach to love may be different in the end both are seeking true love. I now treat every encounter I have with a man differently instead of placing them inside of a box of categories. It is so refreshing to allow a man to reveal who he is instead of making uneducated guesses based on my assumptions alone. So do men fall harder in love? The answer is when a man loves a woman he will stand without a doubt by his commitment to her. Overall, regardless of gender relationships are like flowing rivers when unhealthy things gather inside of them truly committed people must work together to purify them.

Post a CommentIn my experience, no, men do not fall harder in love. However, men do seem to fall more quickly, and also out of love more quickly, where women take time to fall in love, and once in love, it takes more for them to fall out of love. Notice that women often stay in abusive relationships, whereas men do not.
As far as songs go, I think that you've only proven that men write more songs than women. I think in general, we do tend to be more artistic, creative, and inventive (no offense intended). When we express ourselves, it can be easier to express ourselves through art 'to the world' than it is to the women we love. When in love, women, I think tend to be more open within the relationship itself.
Fantastic- this is truly a unique piece! I often try and figure men out and never woud have thought about some of these SONGS. I loved this article and definitely think you are a creative writer! Splendid Job!
thought provoking and truly described dear:)
Interesting concept. Very nice read.
I can't say I agree that men fall harder in love. I think it varies from person to person. Great piece, though! :-)
Truly speaking, when it comes to "true" love neither man nor woman corner the market on the level of its intensity. Forget about ego, male or otherwise. Real love stems from our human desire of the opposite sex, and something as simple as true compatibility. As children, our parents taught us many wonderful things, except how to receive true love. To receive true love one must make themselves vulnerable, passionately open. Allowing another to look deep inside a part of you reserved for only God himself. To share this with another is truly eternal... and spans generations.
Great article. I guess that some are more open about their feelings than others.
It is a great article! Thank you for sharing!
I love rhyme, naturally, it is what i am into. I really liked the way you explored our emotions. That was sensitive of you. It is also a very rare and excellent creative piece. I see it as more of creativity than analysis
