God has commanded several times that we must not steal .The commandment "You shall not steal" is in Exodus 20:15. It is repeated in Leviticus 19:11 and Deuteronomy 5:19 and is also commanded by Jesus in Matthew 19:18, Mark 10:19 and Luke 18:20. In Jeremiah 7:9 and Zechariah 5:3 we are told of God's displeasure with those who do steal. In Romans 13:9 Paul points out that if we love our neighbour we will not steal. In Ephesians 4:28 he says that those who have been guilty of stealing should repent and change their ways. Gods word say in Isaiah 61:8 "For I, the LORD, love justice. I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
God says that Thieves shall never inherit the kingdom of God. "Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: ....nor thieves.... Will inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
Conclusion: God gives warning in Ephesians 4:28 as "Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth."

Wow, great reporting on this one
Great work Shaila again. You always put the Word of God into the minds of the readers. You are like a walking and talking Bible and I thank God for you friend. Soooooo good.
What do we expect in a nation that has enabled the legalized theft via business "bonus" packages that pay men and women in the ranges of 15 and 20 million for robbing the poor to give to the rich. This is a timely article, my sister in Christ.
Well said Marilyn. I certainly agree with you.
It would be good if more people turned from a life a crime and turned to God and the salvation He gives.
