Do You Really Want Revival? (Part 5 of 5)

24Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [[a]cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also]. 25For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting].

Luke 12:8-9 - Confess Christ before men

⁸And I tell you, Whoever declares openly [speaking out freely] and confesses that he is My worshiper and acknowledges Me before men, the Son of Man also will declare and confess and acknowledge him before the angels of God. ⁹But he who disowns and denies and rejects and refuses to acknowledge Me before men will be disowned and denied and rejected and refused acknowledgement in the presence of the angels of God.

The mighty rushing wind or back to things as usual:

If the revival does make it to the stage of the mighty rushing wind, it will now have to make it outside the doors of the church to affect the lost & dying world. Now the fiercer opposition begins! The enemy knows if it gets past the front doors of the church & out into the world that the devil won't be able to control it. He knows that he's in trouble when bold on fire people who have been set free don't let anything stop them from witnessing to others. He knows that every man or woman on fire, filled with the Holy Ghost is a threat to him and his dark kingdom. (Matt 11:12)

It's a choice:

It's a choice and there is a price to pay for revival. We can preach all we want about the harvest, but it's not going to get the job done. We can cry about the lost, pray about the lost and talk about the lost but we must put actions to our words. Jesus always led his followers by example. He lived his life in front of his disciples, so that they could see how to be more like Him. He said if anyone desires to come after me, take up the cross & follow me. He also said that whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. (Matt 10:32-33)

God's army:

We can choose to make excuse after excuse! Jesus said "let the dead bury their down dead". That doesn't change the fact that there is a harvest out there waiting to be reaped. The good news is that no matter how hard the enemy tries to block the move of God or bring in a counterfeit he will not succeed. God is raising up men, woman and children who will stand in the face of the enemy and say "Get your hands off of God's harvest". They will not look for the praises and accolades of men. They won't sit among the ungodly or have their ears tickled. Their faces will be set like flint & wherever they go they will bring the good news. When they are asked "who's name or by what authority do you preach in", they will bravely speak "we come in the name of Jesus"! The world hasn't seen anything yet, the devil thinks he's bound & gagged us with fear! God is causing many to conquer their fears and step out in boldness to see the world come to Jesus!

A decision on your part:

All it takes is a decision on our part to decide that we are going to contend for the mighty rushing wind. We will get what we contend for. So let me ask you again, do you really want revival? Are you willing to pay the price for revival? If you say "YES", then you better prepare to conquer every fear, overcome every obstacle, & face every challenge in this hour! Then make the decision not to sit, but to go, because the harvest is ripe and Jesus is waiting for his precious fruit!
