MEMPHIS, TN --- Even if the days are flying by, there are still two weeks left until the opening night of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which comes out July 13. Then there are three more long weeks until the Harry Potter saga ultimately ENDS with the arrival of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. To keep you from biting your nails and help you get through this difficult waiting time, Davis-Kidd Booksellers has set up an entire month of events for Harry Potter fanatics.

Enjoy birthday cake served all day long in honor of the young wizard. You'll also have a chance to enter the bookstore's drawing, where you could win 10 $10-giftbooks to Malco Theatres. Even if Harry's birthday is July 31, it feels good to celebrate a little early this year!

Lucky winners are invited to redeem their giftbooks the following week at any Malco Theatre for the opening of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

From Saturday, July 14, through Thursday, July 19, Davis-Kidd customers who present their Order of the Phoenix ticket stub will receive 10% off the purchase of any Harry Potter merchandise (excluding Deathly Hallows vouchers).

Join in the fun at the Harry Potter Marauding at Midnight Party. The party will include all kinds of activities for the whole family, especially the wizards and muggles kind! You'll find airbrush tattoos, balloon animals, fortunes & prophecies, a magic show with Magic Mr. Nick, a snowfall tribute to Albus Dumbledore, photo opportunities with Hogwarts faculty members, transformation craft activities, a Care of Magical Creatures Class featuring live owls, frogs, snakes, and spiders from the Memphis Zoo, costume and trivia contests with great prizes (including Malco movie passes, Harry Potter merchandise, a gift basket with game tickets courtesy of the Memphis Redbirds, a Redbirds Quaffle Toss, refreshments in Bronte Bistro's Three Broomsticks, and much more.

Refreshment and activity tickets will be sold during the party at $1 for three tickets. Confetti cannons will mark the stroke of midnight and begin the book distribution! Vouchers are on sale now for Deathly Hallows at a 20% discount and include a Davis-Kidd exclusive Auror's Kit. Kits will be distributed upon redemption of vouchers, on or after July 21. Vouchers also include a coupon for Philip Pullman's book series, His Dark Materials.
