Do You Suffer from Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia?

For those who believe in God, the Book of Revelation of the New Testament of the Christian Bible believe that an animal usually stated to be Satan or a type of Anti-Christ, called The Beast, will posses the number six hundred and sixty six. The exact excerpt from the Book of Revelation 13:18 from the King James translation states "Here is wisdom. Let him hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six."

This 666 is said that it will appear in a combination of letters and symbols that will be physically and permanently received on the right hand or on their forehead. The person wearing this blemish is alleged to do the work of Satan and will carry out all kinds of bogus miracles and wonders as well as a plethora of evils. The Beast will materialize as a grand, pleasant, kind individual in order to persuade people that he is God.

When actually looking into the 13^th Revelation I have noticed that there is no mention of the 666 appearing ON the right hand or ON their forehead, but IN the right hand or IN the forehead. So the Mark of The Beast will not be seen to the naked eye, however in some versions of the Bible it states that the Mark will be visible for those who follow the true way of God.

This may be expressing the true spiritual belief in God, will then shed insight on the ability to see the Mark. Not as much so as super power type ability, but more or less of a gift from God to show appreciation to those who believe in him.

Looking into the correct sentence from the Bible itself, it does state the word IN instead of ON which makes me think that this mark would be some sort of tattoo, which tattoos are known to be made under the skin, not on it, or the possibility of it being some type of pre-chosen birth mark.

The arrival of The Beast is a lot of times associated with the coming of the apocalypse due to there being a six step process in the arrival of Satan. The first sign is said to be a worldwide, devastating earthquake. The second sign to be a bombardment of meteorites raining down on Earth setting fires. The third sign will be a large asteroid hitting the ocean causing the ocean to become bloodlike. The fourth sign will be another large asteroid that contaminates the Earth's waters causing many to die.

The fifth sign is said to be a type of question of the faith in God in which the skies will darken and in the reflection of the previous signs, people will start questioning and wondering if God is mad at the human race and begin to fear God. The last process is the actual arrival of The Beast who will appear as God and affirm that people must ask forgiveness of their sins and come back to him in order to con the human race to follow Satan in disguise.

The above processes are steps that have been translated from Revelation 16. The first five of the events are stated to be occurred via angels.

But who will be this talked of Anti-Christ? Well, as with everything, there are many scenarios.

Many believe that it will be a Pope and that the number 666 comes from the numbers associated with their names that are added up from all the Popes over the years. I spent some time doing this and came up with 1246. In order to come up with the number 666, you would have to erase all the Popes back until the 1300's. However, those who have done the calculations state the Benedict XVI is an antipope. According to the CatholicEncyclopedia, Sylvester III was considered by some to be an antipope. Antipope meaning, a false candidate of the central government of the Catholic Church in which there is disagreement to the body of laws that governs the affairs of the church.

Another theory is that the numbers 666 predetermine the inscription of someone's name or identify that would recognize them as being the Antichrist. Theory states that the answer exists in the Bible, but if you're looking for a 66:6 anywhere, according to the King James Version, there are only two places that I have found a 66:6 and that is in Isaiah stating that "A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord that rendereth recompense to his enemies." And the other is a psalm that states only about rejoicing the Lord. There is also Hosea 6 which is on page 666 of the King James Bible that tells of the wickedness of Samaria and Ephraim.

So as for finding the number 666 within the Bible would not exist per say of numbers because the numbers were placed on the pages by man, if there is a sign in the Bible stating who the Antichrist is, then it would be something that is not defined by that of human organization.

Speaking in a different sense of human organizations, many believe that the carrier of the human made identification system of carrying a social security number carrying the sixes; 666-66-6666.

The government is currently working on microchip implants in the human body as part of an identification function that is being thought by many to be the Mark of The Beast. "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads. And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." Revelation 13:16-17

This quote from the Bible possibly links to the Biblical statement of reference of a second Beast, a fake prophet that is responsible for people to take the mark. This type of chip is already being used on animals for identification and is on the way to being used on humans. With this link to the Biblical Revelation, I personally believe that if this is the case, those who agree to receive the chip or all of us who may be required to receive the chip are not receiving the Mark of the Beast, it is the individual who has raised the idea that has been approved to force America to transcend into this new technology who may carry the Mark of the Beast in order to use the microchip to his or her advantage to gain control.

There will be ones who receive the chip and continue carrying out their dedication to God because they believe what the government is attempting to do is helpful and ignore the rumored Mark of the Beast concept, however the chip would be a technological way that the Antichrist can infiltrate the world. In recognizing this forced course of action, God's wrath would be felt by the Antichrist himself and not the innocent bystanders.

New theories have erupted suggesting that there will be many Antichrists, a type of mass deception of people who do no believe in Christ will, in the end, be the world's downfall. This theory seems hard to believe. Not believing in Christ does not make you a horrible human being and I am sure, if Christ is so forgiving and caring, he would take that into account.

The Bible states in Revelation 14:12 that the patience of the saints are here for those who keep the commandments of God and their faith. So in turn by doing this, you shall be protected from God's wrath, however there is no one on this planet that has kept to follow every one of the 10 Commandments. There are more than one religion, hundred of thousands of images are out there that show the likeness of what is in the heavens; every religious house has a statue of Christ in Heaven, God's name is taken in vain, the Sabbath day is not holy anymore; the day of rest has been forced to be a day of work for most businesses, dishonoring our parents is what being a teenager or child is about; saying no is a popular word, as for murder well we all know that is done daily as well as adultery and stealing, do not lie; everyone has told a lie or a white lie once in their life. And last but not least, there are very few people in this world that stay true to their wife or husband in their marriage.

So if following the 10 commandments is supposed to keep us protected, then we are all in trouble.

In conclusion, we don't really know who The Beast is or even if it does even exist. Throughout the generations, the number of The Beast had been altered and questioned. So we may be looking for the wrong number! I believe that we all have to remember that man created / translated the Bible and man has a tendency to be wrong, hence the controversy of the number being 666, 660, or 665.
