Another thing that I thought was neat is that there are 2 buttons on the front to open and close the lid manually and an on/off switch on the back of the trashcan, I guess if you are not to keen on the new technology or it is something to do when grandma does not quite understand why the trash opens by itself whenever she goes near it.
