Do Traffic Lights See Us?

Randy Jones
Many of us everyday travel to and from work or appointments in our personal vehicles. Most of the time we always try to leave with the intent of arriving early so we can adjust or find a good parking spot or maybe just a cup of Java. In this pursuit there's always the chance of maybe running into an accident or possible traffic jam, but there is one item that will always be guaranteed unless you live on the moon.

Those one or two traffic lights that seem to hold for the equivalent of a decade. It surely never fails your 15 or 20 minutes ahead of schedule than BAM!. Your stopped 20 cars back on a light that you think may possibly be out of service or maybe stuck on red or maybe just waiting for you to get out and put a quarter in a slot somewhere who knows. I do know that all I can think of as I set burning my precious tank of gas I thought I would have to finance, is this. Do traffic lights have a way of seeing you? Do the people that set the timers on these or the scales never have to be to work before 9am,or do they never have meetings or appointments?.

I know that in a regular day we all wake up and get ready to challenge the world. So why should we be stopped in our tracks "literally" before we get to the game. I'm not unrealistic we need traffic signals or we would have to start practicing politeness's, like let those who arrive first go first or wait in line. It just seems like sometimes when we give our best effort to arrive anywhere on time we are always intercepted by the ever changing or maybe sometimes never changing traffic signals.

One thing I think might help in these areas would be for everyone to petition an area they think might be a congesting problem Due to some of these signals and direct it to their local Dept of Transportation,or maybe forward a copy to the local council or magistrate. This is just my opinion on this little subject to possibly help our days move along.
That's my view on it.
