Things to consider for both men and women. Collate all your clothes and start to churn out those old looking clothes and put one side. You can choose to give away to friends or family members, or donate to the needy. Get a few books to decide on the colors that fit with your type of body and etc. This would be especially useful for the ladies. As for men, it would be slightly easier because the colors are pretty basic. From what I observe and read as a general thumb rule, it's important to take a look at our natural skin tone and choose the colors from there. The general rule is to choose colors that are warm and vibrant and even if you choose dark colors, to match your eye and hair color. Normally, when it comes to personal makeover or grooming, do you seek the expertise of the salesperson? That might be very useful in order to balance out of what your opinions and theirs are. Get a 2nd opinion on which fashion clothes or style that suit you. Shoes and accessories are more easy options. Once you have gotten some new clothes that are matched to your new look, these items will follow through.
As for hair, choose something that flows with your personality. If you are the quiet type, do not choose a hairstyle that speaks lots of volumes or depicting a loud and vibrant personality. Instead, to be subtle would be the perfect solution. Guys have it more easier and can choose a range of hairstyles from spiky, Mohawk , a sleek look and back-comb style or to go bald or choose a style that can be grown long to match your rugged style. Ladies have more options like coloring of hair, perming, re-bonding and many more. A little makeover certainly goes a long way and it can also be good for your career advancement. This could be in an instance whereby say you are working on the real estate line. Therefore, changing your outlook altogether to show confidence, a look that says that you are reliable to outsource for homes for potential clients; can prove to be vital for your career path. This can also be a boost for your personal lifestyle, hence, a personal makeover can be good. It doesn't have to be a drastic change, and mini makeovers can change your perspective on your own fashion style, with the other things falling through nicely.
