Vampires are a Halloween favorite. With recent movies like Twilight and True Blood, Vampires are definitely a must have costume for Halloween. Before you go out and buy a vampire costume or rent one, try making your own.

For clothing, ladies or girls think of your evening attire. A vampire is usually elegant and sexy. Think of black satin, velvet or lace. Use tops with low cut necklines or wear a blazer (jacket) with no shit underneath, think corset. A black short sexy skirt or long full skirt is great.

For men or boys, a button white dress shirt, with a suit jacket or something similar, with black pants or jeans. Black shoes.

Next create a cape to wear. You can easily find a pattern at a local discount store. If you don't have the time, get a few yards of black fabric. Gather is like a bat using a clip or something to hold it in place, then attach to your neckline or shoulders. If you have time, you can put red fabric on the underside of the cape, for an added touch or contrast.

You'll need sexy hair. For men or boys, slick the hair back with gel. For women or girls, think sexy. Tease your hair into an updo. If you don't have enough length, you could try hair extensions. If you have blonde or light hair, add in a temporary dark spray to your hair.

For make up, use a white to very light powder on your face. Powder will make you look pale and like a vampire. Next, use dark eye shadow under your eye. Take a Q-Tip and add some red lip stick around your eye. You don't want a big line. next, apply black mascarra to your eye lashes and eye brows. Don't forget to apply red lip stick to your lips.

Add vampire teeth. You'll need to pick these up at a discount store or a costume store.

Add comfy black shoes and you're ready for trick or treating or a Halloween Party.
