Dockers Free Pants: Top Commercial of the Super Bowl

Dockers Has Popular Ad

William Browning
Every wife's worst nightmare and the freedom of men to hang loose without pants is becoming the most popular commercial of the Super Bowl. In what is turning out to be the anthem of all men who struggle with wearing pants that look good, a field of underwear-clad men singing about wearing no pants at all is getting rave reviews for being one of the best advertisements for Sunday's Super Bowl XLIV.

If you want to live up to the hype, Levi's is announcing they are giving away thousands of free Dockers pants and you can enter for a chance to win. Otherwise, you'll be in a meadow singing with your fellow men in underwear.

My wife looked at the commercial with laughing disgust as she knows from her own experience, and her sisters, that men can be gross without pants. All of them shop for their husbands to look good in public, but at the end of the day some men just like to shed their pants and be, well, men. The Super Bowl commercial was great in that it spoke to both men and women, even though men can truly know the glory of not wearing restrictive pants.

Levi's wants to literally change that image of pants as being uncomfortable. Dockers, ever since they hit the market, have done numerous favors for themselves by saying they are comfortable to wear, even for me. And wives everywhere are rejoicing that their men look bad when they don't wear anything but underwear below the waistline. If only Dockers is hoping for a rush of sales as women buy their husbands more pants for the winter.

The commercial can be viewed on AdBlitz's YouTube Channel. Men love the song because it sounds like a classic Monty Python song and is a march for free men everywhere. Women rejoice because they know men don't like to wear pants but if Dockers can convince enough of them to buy their cotton khakis for everyday wear, then their ad is a big hit for both demographics. How many men have their wives shop for their pants? I know mine does, so Dockers knew how to be effective with a commercial that gets as many demographic hits as humanly possible. Good luck finding Dockers on shelves today as the commercial may have scared enough wives to go out and buy pants for men today while they are at work. Don't worry, men. We gladly take being a tame dog for our women.
