Does Anyone Know the Jerk..

Stephanie Alford
I was going through some of my old poems that I wrote on here and saw where he had left some very rude comments, which I promptly deleted. It's one thing to say that a person looks like shit (which I don't think I really do in the first place), but it's another thing to say that their writing is awful. As a psych major, I can only attribute their atrocious behavior to the fact that they are just jealous themselves. Even with that reasoning, they don't have to say awful things like that. So here's my little list to show that I'm not an awful writer, nor do I look "like shit," as he so eloquently put it.

I hope that this person has not said negative things to anyone else has he has me. If he thinks so highly of himself, then why doesn't he have a profile for others to see? All he does is leave slanderous comments about people. Dude, just grow up and write something so profound that it parallels "Thus Spoke Zarathustra," or something like that. Yep, that's what I thought, you probably don't even know to whom I am referring. With that being said, if I wrote so terribly, then why do I have a book soon to be published? I'm sure my editors would find your works "humorous," to say the very least. Or, in your case, probably the very best. :)

Steph, I know where you are coming from, believe me; however, I would not devote my energy or time to such a person. Delete his/her comments and don't give this person any more attention. Congrats on your book coming out soon. PM me about the name and publisher, if you like. I just had one published last month. (I won a poetry chapbook contest and the prize was a publishing deal.)

I enjoy your writing. You are very expressive and very revealing.

He just didn't know how lucky he was.
